15. Zhaire Smith

February Stats: GP 3| MINS 2.8| FG% 40.0| 3P% 0.0| STL 0.3| PF 0.5| TOV 0.3| PTS 1.0

Previous ranking: 15th

Overall, Zhaire Smith didn’t impress for a second straight month. He mostly got his minutes because the roster was short-handed as a result of the trade deadline and injuries. It’s doubtful that Smith gets minutes moving forward unless injuries occur later on this season.

14. Norvel Pelle

February Stats: GP 3| MINS 4.7| FG% 50.0| FT% 50.0| TRB 2.3| BKL 1.3| PF 1.7| TOV 0.7| PTS 2.3

Previous ranking: 12th

After making a strong impression early on the season, Norvel Pelle was rewarded with a regular NBA contract after the trade deadline. Despite getting off his 2-way contract, head coach Brett Brown has rarely used his rookie big man in February. Pelle’s outlook on playing time doesn’t seem too promising moving forward.

13. Kyle O’Quinn

February Stats: GP 3| MINS 10.3| FG% 50.0| 3P% 0.0| FT% 71.4| TRB 5.3| AST 1.0| BKL 1.7| PF 1.4| PTS 5.0

Previous ranking: 14th

Kyle O’Quinn seems to always make the most of his limited minutes, this past month was no exception. He tied a season-high in rebounds with 10 rebounds against the New York Knicks and tied a season-high in blocks with four blocks against the Cleveland Cavaliers. Despite being buried on the depth chart, O’Quinn can still contribute when given the opportunity.
