It was the first time since his rookie year that Horford came off the bench for the Philadelphia 76ers. Obviously it impacted his overall production. He also showed that he’s 33-year-old this past month. February proved that father time is undefeated, but the question is can he turn back the clock for when it matters moving forward?
5. Shake Milton
February Stats: GP 11| MINS 22.6| FG% 48.7| 3P% 51.4| FT% 100.0| TRB 2.2| AST 2.5| BKL 0.4| STL 0.6| PF 2.0| TOV 0.9| PTS 9.5
Previous ranking: 8th
Despite his scoring numbers were slightly down from January, Milton proved himself even more valuable to the Sixers during February. He proved that he can handle the duties of the point guard position moving forward despite not having the highest of assists averages.
He also showed yet again, he can be a scoring threat when given the opportunity to be. He scored in double-digits in five of elven games and three out of four times at the end of the month when he the primary playmaker when he was on the court.
4. Furkan Korkmaz
February Stats: GP 11| MINS 25.3| FG% 48.3| 3P% 42.3| FT% 80.0| TRB 3.2| AST 1.6| BKL 0.2| STL 0.6| PF 1.0| TOV 0.9| PTS 14.4
Previous ranking: 5th
Two games this past month was all it took for Furkan Kormaz to catapult himself into the fourth spot in these rankings. He scored a career-high 34 points and then scored 31 points in two consecutive games in February.
Without those two scoring outbursts from Korkmaz, it’s doubtful that the Sixers win either of those games. Korkmaz scored in double-digits in eight games during February and reached double-digits in four straight games to end the month.
