Philadelphia 76ers: Wilt Chamberlain is the greatest NBA player of all-time

On March 18, 1991 the greatest NBA player of all time had his number retired by the Philadelphia 76ers. People can talk LeBron or Michael but… when you analyze it… Wilt Chamberlain stands above everyone.

Since the 29th anniversary of Wilt Chamberlain having his iconic number 13 retired by the Philadelphia 76ers recently occurred, it is a chance for hoop fans to look at one of the most energetic debates in basketball:

Who is the greatest player in NBA history?

LeBron James? Nope. Michael Jordan? Sorry, nah.

It is ‘The Big Dipper’ (he hated Wilt the Stilt) … and it is not even that close when you look at it.

Who thinks this? Well, one of the most prominent endorsers was not even born when Wilt had his number retired at the Spectrum — Joel Embiid.

We can rehash all the incredible stats Chamberlain racked up: The 100 point game, averaging 50 points in a season, never fouling out, averaging over 48 minutes a game one year and leading the NBA in assists, rebounding and scoring at least once.
