The current quarantine is obviously less than ideal, but it is affecting everyone the same way, including your favorite Philadelphia 76ers players. This naturally leads us to debate which Sixers players would be the best to be quarantined with.

The first name that immediately comes to mind might be Joel Embiid, mainly because of his fun-loving antics on and off the court. If I were quarantined with JoJo, I would be expecting a minimum of 10 FIFA matches per day with the winner getting an extra Shirley Temple. We might also draft up some future Instagram posts for when he wants to be petty with opposing centers again.

Embiid though, would be my second choice to be quarantined with. The top-ranked quarantine cohabitant Philadelphia 76ers player is unquestionably….

Matisse Thybulle.

Now I cannot claim I am an active TikTok user, but Matisse might be changing that and fast. The Sixers rookie has played well this season and has been received well by the Philly faithful due to his gritty defensive play.

Yet Matisse looks to be outperforming his basketball play by taking over the TikTok game. There are more videos like the one above on his TikTok page, which I highly recommend for those looking for something to cheer them up. Honestly, can you say you were doing anything more productive and entertaining when you were a young 23-year-old fresh out of college?

If you take anything away from this article it should be that the Sixers players you love and adore are just like you and me and dealing with this unprecedented and challenging time in similar ways to everyday people. The season may be postponed for now, but that is not going to change for the foreseeable future. In the meantime, I hope everyone can try to see the positive in every day, and turn off the news to watch entertaining and uplifting content like Matisse’s TikToks.

Stay safe out there!
