The Philadelphia 76ers are bored too. Here’s who’s making the most of a trying time.
Like the rest of us, the Philadelphia 76ers are bored out of their minds. Some of them are being pretty vocal about it, *cough* Matisse *cough*. I think it’s pretty interesting to see how the guys are handling this whole situation right now.
1. Matisse Thybulle
The popular “Vine-like” app, Tiktok, has taken over the quarantine, and Matisse wanted his part in the fun. His contagious and heartwarming smile has gained him more than 114,000 followers in the few short weeks since he began his Tiktok journey.
Though he’s gotten some slack from it by his teammates, he keeps on pumping out wholesome content to entertain himself and the fans. His Tik Toks showcase some of the activities that are keeping him busy during this time. These activities include building Lego sets, dribbling a basketball in his apartment (his neighbors probably hate him), and my personal favorite, spending time with his Roomba vacuum (seriously, this one could win an Oscar).
I know his silly Tik Toks have brightened my days in quarantine, along with many others. Let’s hope that he keeps safe and creative throughout the rest (however long that is) of the NBA hiatus.
2. Tobias Harris
I’m not going to lie, I was a bit worried about Tobias there for a while. He was posting as if the season was still going on and games were being played. He even posted his “fit pics” as if everything was normal. “The fit hit different after a W” he captioned his “postgame” Instagram picture.
All is well with Tobias, as he finally snapped to the cruel reality that there really are no games being played. He has been pretty active on social media, which is nice to see. Recently he posted about missing his best friend, and former Sixer, Boban Marjanović. He also started a friendly feud on Twitter after posting this:
People don’t have sports to fight over so they’ve gotta find something to state their opinions on (the correct answer is No. 6 by the way).
3. Josh Richardson
Josh has been more on the chill side with his quarantine activities. He isn’t being too flashy on social media, but he’s keeping the fans updated on what he’s been doing.
Even before the NBA went on hiatus, Josh was pretty active on social media, especially Twitter. He likes to express his love for his favorite music artists and even his favorite cereals. During this time of self-isolation, he’s been doing even more of that to engage in conversations with people about a variety of topics.
Instagram is another way that Josh has been expressing himself. Like many dog owners right now, they get to spend all day with their pets. If you follow Josh at all you know he loves his dog:
He’s even created an Instagram account for his furry friend.
The players seem like they’re keeping themselves busy as well as they can, but hopefully, this hiatus is over soon so they can hit the court fully refreshed and ready to go.
