Jared Brownridge

Jared Brownridge has been a staple on the Blue Coats for the three seasons. His first was when the Blue Coats were still known as the Delaware 87ers. He only played two games that season, but now he appears to be an important part of their bench.

In terms of production, Brownridge has quickly flourished into a premier sharpshooter for the Blue Coats. This season, he’s averaged 15.3 points on 44.2 percent shooting from the floor and 38.5 percent shooting from downtown on 8.5 3-point attempts.

In terms of how he compares to the rest of the G-League, this season he was fourth in 3-pointers made and 10th in attempts from deep. With the Sixers needing a high volume floor spacer, it’s surprising that he hasn’t received a two-way contract or even a 10-day deal.

Probably part of the reason he hasn’t yet is due to the fact that he’s an undersized shooting guard at 6-foot-3 and he doesn’t offer much beyond 3-point shooting. While he could certainly help the 76ers with his 3-point shooting, unless he adds more to his game on either side of the ball, it seems like it would be a stretch for him to have a legit shot of getting on Philly’s roster.
