The Philadelphia 76ers have had a lot of first round picks in the past 10 years, but how well have/did they play for the franchise?

In the past 10 years, the Philadelphia 76ers have had some good players and not so good players get drafted by the franchise. Thanks to the inspiration by Giovanni Spillman of Swarm and Sting and his article covering the Charlotte Hornets past 10 first round picks, I’ve decided to do something similar.

Instead of covering just the 10 past first round picks, this article will be covering the last 10 years’ worth of first round picks that have come through the franchise. These rankings will be covering how their careers are or were with the Sixers, similar to how Spillman did in his rankings. Even if a player did better or worse after they left Philly, only their time with the franchise will be factored into these rankings.

With that in mind, there are a few details that need to be reviewed before going into this list. The first being, even if the 76ers didn’t own the pick that ended up selecting a player, but made a draft-night deal for said player, then that player will be included on this list. That being said, if a player never suited up for the team (for example, Anzejs Pasecniks) then they won’t be included on this list.

It should also be noted that Craig Brackins won’t be included on this list. Despite being a first round pick that played for the Sixers in his first and second seasons (his full career), he wasn’t acquired by the franchise until close to the start of the 2010-11 season.

Without any further ado, I give you the rankings of the former first round picks from the past 10 years.
