20. TYRELL TERRY, Guard, Stanford

Tyrell Terry might be the best shooter in this year’s draft. He’s elite in every respect — on the move, standstill, pulling up. It doesn’t matter. He has deep range, sexy mechanics, and should have no problem operating behind the NBA three-point line.

He’s also much more than a shooter. While Terry is undersized for someone traditionally considered a two-guard, he does have some playmaking chops at his disposal. He can attack closeouts, work inside, and hit open teammates on the perimeter. He’s an unselfish player.

As talented as Terry is offensively, his excessively frail frame — he’s listed at 160 pounds — is an unavoidable red flags. Teams will target him relentlessly at the next level. He is presently a defensive liability, which cannot go unremarked in pre-draft evaluations.
