Philadelphia 76ers roundtable: Pre-lottery 2020 NBA mock draft
23rd pick: Heat- Jalen Smith
Johnson-
The Heat could end up losing Meyers Leonard and Kelly Olynyk in free agency. They also don’t have another young big man to pair their young All-Star big man Bam Adebayo. With that in mind, Jalen Smith makes sense for the Heat with the 23rd pick.
Smith is an impressive two-way prospect that Miami has missed at the power forward position. This season, the 6-foot-10 big man has averaged 15.5 points, 10.5 rebounds, and 2.4 blocks, while making 36.8 percent of his shots from downtown. He seems like a solid complimentary big man to pair with Adebayo.
24th pick: Jazz- Jahmi’us Ramsey
Plesco-
Top to bottom Utah has a solid roster. They are a few pieces away from contending in the west. While they can’t get another star in this draft, they can solidify their back up guard spot.
Ramsey is a great fit for Utah. He plays high energy basketball and always seems to find the ball. Ramsey can play at the point guard or the shooting guard spot and provides exactly what Utah needs.
