Game 5

The Raptors had their blowout win in Game 3, the Sixers got theirs in Game 5.

Allen Iverson took over again and scored 52 points. He nearly matched Carter’s three-point record — coming up just one make shy. He shot 65 percent from the field and had an offensive rating of 168. The Sixers easily won Game 5 by a final score of 121-88. Carter scored just 16 points thanks to solid defense from Aaron McKie and others.

Game 6

With the Raptors on the brink of elimination, in truly legendary fashion, Carter showed up. He scored 39 points in 43 minutes. He came up with four steals, five rebounds, and five assists as well. Iverson, on the other hand, did not. He scored 20 points while shooting 6-for-24 from the field.

The Sixers never led and this set up a winner-take-all Game 7 back in Philadelphia.
