One potential trade from every Pacific Division team: Los Angeles Lakers
With LeBron James and Anthony Davis already on their roster, the Los Angeles Lakers don’t have much room for any major trades. The problem is that both teams need help at guard depth moving forward. The Lakers and the Philadelphia 76ers both have loaded front courts as well.
Making a trade between the two clubs involving players just doesn’t make sense. If Brand does decide he wants to make a trade with Los Angeles, then he will have look at the draft. The Sixers have five picks entering the draft and have the flexibility to make a draft-day trade.
Considering the 76ers have four second round picks, trading up in the draft makes sense for Philly. The Lakers need a lot of depth entering this offseason seeing as they will have five players entering free agency and that’s not including players with player options on their contracts.
This trade allows the Sixers to have two first round picks which should be a win for the 76ers. The Lakers still get a good value second round pick and their own second round pick, which should allow them to add cheap depth.
