One potential trade from every Pacific Division team: Sacramento Kings
The Sacramento Kings are in total chaos right now. They failed to make a push inside of the NBA Bubble and they parted ways GM Vlade Divac after five seasons. While Philadelphia 76ers fans will surely remember Davic fondly because of the Nik Stauskas trade, his absence in Sacramento leaves more questions than answers.
The biggest being where do the young Kings go from here? Head coach Luke Walton’s job security should be in question. What will they do about Buddy Hield’s and Bogdan Bogdanovic’s bad mesh? With all these questions and Vlade leaving the franchise, using the rumors about their past interest in Horford from the last offseason seems outdated at this point.
While I wrote about Sacramento being a potential trade destination for Horford, it’s just better to stay away from any potential trades sending him there based on their current state of disarray. That being said, there is another trade the 76ers could do.
To preface the logic behind this hypothetical trade, the 76ers only make this trade “if” they make a separate trade to rid themselves of Horford. Trading for Richaun Holmes would make a lot of sense under that circumstance.

It brings Holmes back to Philly where he started his career before he was unceremonially traded for cash by former head coach and interim general manager Brett Brown. Since his departure from the Sixers Holmes developed into a reliable backup center with the Phoenix Suns and then a starter with the Kings.
Holmes will only be making $5 million this upcoming season before he is set to be a free agent in 2021. He could do a lot more for Philly than what Mike Scott did for the franchise this season in terms of on the court value. Trading away Holmes gives the Kings a clear path to re-sign Harry Giles in free agency, who showed real growth this season.
Getting a high second round pick for a player who going to be a free agent soon is a win for Sacramento as well. If the 76ers can get off Horford’s deal in a separate trade, then targeting Holmes makes sense for Philly.
