One potential trade from every Northwest Division team: Oklahoma City Thunder

When discussing any potential trade with the Oklahoma City Thunder this offseason Chris Paul is going to mentioned and with the Philadelphia 76ers, he makes a lot of sense. The Sixers have been connected to Paul already on Brian Windhorst’s Hoop Collective Podcast.

Co-site expert Christopher Kline of The Sixer Sense has also been an advocate of trading for Paul. Below is a potential trade package that could bring Paul to Philly.

Paul helps the Sixers fill their need at point guard and shot creator so there isn’t much reason why the 76ers don’t do this deal. Getting Tobias Harris, Matisse Thybulle and Scott, along with 2022 unprotected first round pick and the 21st pick in the 2020 NBA Draft, via the Thunder.

Harris could fill the hole that Danilo Gallinari will probably leave when he hits free agency this offseason. Despite Harris being overpaid, he’s still averaged close to 20 points per game this year, so he has some value and he can fill a need of the Thunder.

Andre Roberson will also be a free agent for the Thunder as well and Thybulle is a younger and healthier version of Roberson. Thybulle is a better shooter than Roberson as well so it’s an upgrade for the Thunder in that area as well. Scott is included in the deal to make money work and that’s his only value in this trade.

If Paul was two or three years younger then Philly would probably have to include another pick in this deal, but at the age of 35-years-old, two first round picks is more than fair compensation for Paul.
