5. Joel says he wants to be the best player in the world
If that is true, he should begin by watching what other great players are doing and how they are taking care of their body. It is year six, the argument that he is young and will outgrow his bad habits has grown stale.
Stop with the fast food, junk food, and sweets already. We have seen the footage of Joel jogging out in the streets of Philly, and it makes a good photo op. It’s time to hire a nutritionist to only prepare healthy food for him and start treating his body like a temple.
Talk to LeBron about his diet. Stop jogging and start running windsprints until you hurl. Work with a track coach instead of a shooting coach.
If Embiid ever wants to be taken seriously, just trying his best during the games is not enough. The hard work has to come when no one is watching, making a commitment to his body so that he can run like a deer all game long and still have energy for that fourth quarter push. Those 20 pounds aren’t coming off by themselves.
