Could Jrue Holiday and Lou Williams return to the Sixers? Did Joel Embiid deserve to make an All-NBA Team? Was Dr. J’s “Rock the Baby” play more memorable than Allen Iverson’s “step over”? These questions are answered, and more, in this week’s episode of The Sixer Sense podcast.

On this week’s episode of The Sixer Sense podcast, Lucas Johnson and Christopher Kline discuss a variety of topics, focusing on Joel Embiid‘s controversial omission from the All-NBA teams, Jrue Holiday‘s possible return to the Sixers, and how Philly fans might feel about Jimmy Butler and Jayson Tatum thriving in the playoffs.

Tipping off, the conversation starts with Joel Embiid not making the All-NBA team. The Sixers big man did not get voted to any of the three teams, and the pod goes into whether or not he deserved to be selected and who should not have made it over Embiid.

From there, the discussion stays in tune with All-NBA team selection, as Ben Simmons made the third team. Chris and Lucas go over who picked Simmons to be on their All-NBA teams. They also discuss other players who made their list.

Moving on, rumors about Jrue Holiday’s possible return to the Sixers are touched on. Possible offers that New Orleans might accept for Holiday are talked about in depth. Another recent trade rumor for a former Sixer — Lou Williams — is mentioned, and Uriah tells his story of when he met Lou Will at a nightclub (no lemon pepper wings involved).

The current playoffs matchup between the Heat and Celtics sparks conversation about two players who Sixer fans may be a little jealous of, for obvious reasons. Lucas and Chris chime in on whether they feel any emotions about both players thriving in the playoffs while the 76ers are at home watching.

A debate then happens between Chris and Lucas about who should be on the Sixers’ roster next year — Isaiah Thomas or Raul Neto? A friendly bet is wagered, and you don’t want to miss what is at stake if either player is signed in the offseason.
