One potential trade with each Southwest team: Memphis Grizzlies

The Memphis Grizzlies are another young team that is on the up and coming in the NBA. They have a great young core in Ja Morant, Jaren Jackson Jr., Dillon Brooks, and Brandon Clarke. However, the Grizzlies have one major issue with their roster that has it unbalanced.

They are too young and lack a lot of veterans. This results in not enough young players not getting the playing time they need. They need more veterans in the locker room. The Philadelphia 76ers have one player that could provide that leadership for this young Memphis team.

Mike Scott would be a perfect veteran for the Grizzles. He has an edge the team lacked this past season and he knows what winning looks like. He’s also at the point in his career where he doesn’t need a lot or even consistent minutes to still be effective when called upon.

Getting a high second round pick is a bonus for Memphis as they don’t have a first round pick in this draft. Sending Scott and a second should be fair compensation for Grayson Allen.

Allen has the makings of a sharpshooter. He was one in college and last season he showed he can be that on the NBA level. He averaged 8.7 points on 40.4 percent from deep. He’s far from a finished product and but he would be a big help with the Sixers floor spacing issues.
