Daryl Morey helped build Houston into a championship contender. Now that the Philadelphia 76ers are his new priority, who are some former or current Rockets players he could bring to the Sixers?

Sixers ownership recently pulled off the unthinkable by landing Daryl Morey. Just a few months after getting swept by the Celtics and firing Brett Brown, Josh Harris and the rest of the Philadelphia 76ers ownership group have opened their wallets to form a solid front office.

Daryl Morey was one of the most highly regarded general managers in the league, averaging over 56 wins a year and making numerous consecutive playoff appearances with Houston. He is set to become the 76ers’ President of Basketball Operations. With his vision and experience, he will help the Sixers emerge among their Eastern Conference peers as a championship caliber team.

Most NBA analysts would argue that they still need some pieces, so who could Daryl Morey lure away from his former team? If he can’t lure any current Rockets away, could he possibly bring in former players that play for different teams? Here are three players the 76ers would most likely acquire because of the Daryl Morey connection.
