The Philadelphia 76ers have some good trade options with Central Division teams.

There are some pretty talented players that could be available to the Philadelphia 76ers if they decided to trade with a team within the Central Division. There are even a few former All-Stars that the Sixers could land in potential deals.

This will be the fifth division covered in this series of articles. The list below has links to each article in this series covering trades with each team.

One potential trade with each Central Division team: Chicago Bulls

This isn’t the first time that I’ve had the Chicago Bulls as a potential trade partner with the Sixers in an article. Ever since they hired former Sixers front office personal Marc Eversley and Al Horford’s former college coach Billy Donovan as their new head coach, the Bulls make sense as a trade partner for the 76ers.

While swapping Otto Porter Jr.’s expiring contract for Horford’s deal gives the Sixers a little financial relieve, it doesn’t make the team better. the trade above does that. They would get a guard who can create for himself and others in Zach LaVine.

Lavine could be the missing player that could make the duo of Ben Simmons and Joel Embiid work. The shooting guard averaged 25.5 points and 4.2 assists, while converting 38.0 percent of his 3-pointers.

Zhaire Smith is a nice prospect they can evaluate during their rebuild and to be honest Mike Scott is just a salary filler for the deal. The Bulls may just choose to waive Scott because they already have a fully loaded frontcourt rotation if they can’t find someone to trade for him in a separate deal down the road.

Chicago gets a nice two-way compliment to play next to Colby White in the backcourt in Josh Richardson. Another first round pick is never a bad thing for a rebuilding team. This potential trade that Chicago and Philly should seriously consider if they ever get into serious trade talks.
