29. Cassius Winston, guard, Michigan State

Another Michigan State product, and another prospect who should quickly land on his feet at the next level. Cassius Winston has been a bonafide collegiate superstar for two seasons now, and spent four largely productive years in East Lansing. He was a winning player through and through.

Winston is undersized at 6-foot-1, but a strong frame and a 6-foot-6 wingspan make up some of that ground defensively. He also has a well-documented competitive edge. Offensively, Winston can bomb 3s and playmake for others without committing copious amounts of turnovers. That, normally, is indicative of a good NBA player.

A lot of contenders late in the first round — and even early in the second round — are in need of guard help. Someone like Winston, who can space the floor, benefit others, and is a proven winner, should not have a hard time charming front offices.
