One potential trade with each Atlantic Division team: Toronto Raptors

The Toronto Raptors lost legit depth at the center spot this offseason with Marc Gasol going to the Los Angeles Lakers and Serge Ibaka going to the Los Angeles Clippers. Currently, the only true centers they have on the roster is Aron Baynes and Alex Len, both are better as backups versus staters.

Still, they could use another true center with combo bigs like Henry Ellenson and Chris Boucher being their only other options as a third-string center. The proposed trade below helps the Raptors gain that type of big man.

The Sixers get Stanley Johnson and a 2023 second round pick for Tony Bradley. Johnson is in this deal for salary purposes, because outside of defense, he doesn’t offer much on the court. He could end up being traded or waived later on.

The 76ers do this deal for the second round pick. Philly doesn’t have the treasure trove of picks moving forward like they use to, but this deal is a small step in fixing that problem.

None of the hypothetical trades with the Atlantic Division are home runs, but they could help the Philadelphia 76ers in either the short or long term.
