Milwaukee Bucks

Sadly, the Sixers were unable to trade for Jrue Holiday this offseason. The former All-Star point guard spent the first four seasons of his career with the 76ers. He then went on to spend seven seasons with the Pelicans. He is supposed to the third star to Giannis Antetokounmpo and Khris Middleton this season.

Justin Patton was a part of the deal that landed Butler in Philly from the T-Wolves, but he never lived up to the expectation of being a first round pick in the one season he played in Philly. The big man spent last season with the Thunder. He’s on a training camp deal for the Bucks, per Eric Nehm of The Athletic, so it’s unlikely he makes the team.

Like Patton, Nik Stauskas’ contract appears to be non-guaranteed as well, per Bobby Marks of ESPN. Despite being a bust, Stauskas endeared himself to Sixers fans after being traded by the Sacramento Kings. After two and a half seasons, he was traded to the Nets with Okafor. He’s also had stops with the Portland Trail Blazers, Cleveland Cavaliers, and played in Europe last season.

New Orleans Pelicans

Veteran J.J. Redick spent two seasons with the Sixers and they ended up being the best statistical years of his career. Prior to Philly, Redick played for the Orlando Magic, Bucks, and Clippers. He enters his second season with the Pelicans and has a good chance to start at shooting guard with Holiday on the Bucks now.
