New York Knicks

It could be argued that Alec Burks was the best sixth man the franchise has had since Williams during this past season. Besides playing this past season in Philly, Burks’ prior stops include the Utah Jazz, Cavaliers, Kings, and Warriors.  With the Knicks, he will probably be the sixth man off the bench to allow a younger guard to start ahead of him.

Nerlens Noel started out his Sixers career as the injured player the club traded Holiday for. He quickly lost his title as franchise center for Joel Embiid. Since then he’s played for the Mavericks and Thunder, where he’s become one of the better backup centers in the league. That role shouldn’t change in New York.

Oklahoma City Thunder

Now that the 76ers have freed themselves Al Horford, the center should do much better presumably as the Thunder’s starter. Due to age, injuries, and fit, he had a terrible tenure with the Sixers. Prior to landing in Philly, the stretch playmaking big made All-Star appearance with both the Hawks and Celtics.

Stretch big Mike Muscala spent half a season with the Sixers before getting traded to the Clippers (who he didn’t play a game for) and then immediately to the Lakers. He landed on the 76ers after being traded to the franchise from the Hawks. He should be a veteran reserve for the Thunder during their rebuild but it’s unlikely that he has a consistent role this year.
