The podcast this week welcomes former Villanova player and NCAA champion, Darryl Reynolds. He joins us this week to talk Sixers news and the top basketball movies of all time.

Lucas Johnson and Uriah Young, joined by former Villanova star Darryl Reynolds, start things off with the recent buzz about James Harden being interested in joining the Sixers. The trio discusses what it would take for Houston to give up their perennial All-Star. Different trade packages are offered, which include Ben Simmons, Tobias Harris, and other trade assets.

From there, the podcast gives insight on the impact that newly acquired veterans can have on the younger Sixer players. The conversation brings up Dwight Howard possibly setting a solid example for Joel Embiid. It also goes into whether or not Danny Green can convince Ben Simmons to expand his game into shooting more perimeter shots. The thinking is that their championship experience can rub off on the two Sixers stars.

Uriah, Lucas, and Darryl then offer their thoughts on how the projected 76ers starting five matches up versus the other starting lineups of top Eastern Conference teams. How did they measure up the 76ers when compared to Miami, Boston, Toronto, Brooklyn, and Milwaukee?

Lastly, The Sixer Sense presents our first ever movie critique. What would you say are the best basketball films of all time? During this segment of the pod, Uriah starts off with a clue related to each movie. Then, Lucas and Darryl guess which movie it is. After that, they elaborate on aspects of each film and offer a rating of one to five stars.

Who rates Juwanna Mann over White Men Can’t Jump? Who still hasn’t seen Hoosiers? And who rates Coach Carter as one of the worst basketball films he’s ever seen? Listen and find out on this week’s episode of The Sixer Sense Podcast!
