Joel Embiid’s strong start earns him the Philadelphia 76ers’ first player of the week award for this season.

Just like in seasons past, The Sixer Sense presents the player of the week award. Its purpose is to highlight the Philadelphia 76ers’ most impressive player of that particular week. While this coming out on Saturday, in the future it will be coming on Fridays.

It should also be noted that in addition to the player of the week award, there will be another player who gets an honorable mention for their week as well. With that being said, to no surprise, the Sixers’ best player Joel Embiid claims the first award of this season.

Due to beginning of the season being so short, every game up to the point of this article’s release will be included.
