Sixers jersey power rankings [TIER 2]: All around good choices

#3-5 (tie): Tobias Harris — 12/20

  1. Watchability: Tobi has been a joy to watch this season, who is shooting the ball with confidence and showing improvement as a passer. Lack of top-end talent and highlights prevents Harris from getting a five though.  4/5
  2. Future with team: Harris is signed through 2024 but will be almost 33 when his contract ends, so re-signing him after is questionable. 4/5
  3. Franchise value: This is already Harris’s third season with the team and he has been a key contributor on playoff level teams. 3/5
  4. Unintentional comedy: Harris is a fairly mainstream Sixer and doesn’t add any comedy, so no bonus points here. 1/5

#3-5 (tie): Shake Milton — 12/20

  1. Watchability: Shake is a fun offensive player who scores at all three levels and attacks with confidence. He can blow up any game, like his 39 point outburst against the Clippers last season. 4/5
  2. Future with team: Milton is signed through 2023 and will only be 26 years old. He should be a priority to resign for the Sixers but he could look elsewhere for a bigger role. 4/5
  3. Franchise value: Shake has only played significant minutes for the Sixers since midway through last season. 2/5
  4. Unintentional comedy: Milton gets one bonus point here for being a unique jersey. 2/5

#3-5 (tie): Matisse Thybulle — 12/20

  1. Watchability: Thybulle is already one of the best defenders in the NBA and a walking highlight reel on that end. On offense, it’s more of a work in progress. 3/5
  2. Future with team: Thybulle is signed through 2023 and will be a restricted free agent, so if the price is fair the Sixers will keep him for much longer. 4/5
  3. Franchise value: Thybulle has been great value as the 20th pick in last year’s draft but has only been a rotation piece for a bit over a season. 2/5
  4. Unintentional comedy: Thybulle gets a point here for the uniqueness of the jersey and another for showing Sixers’ fans inside the bubble with his legit vlogging skills. 3/5

#6: Tyrese Maxey11/20

  1. Watchability: Maxey has had an up and down rookie season, but he has been a nice spark off the bench while showing off his patented floater. 3/5
  2. Future with team: Maxey just started his rookie deal and is guaranteed to be on the team through 2024. 4/5
  3. Franchise value: Maxey has only been with the team for a few months and really hasn’t had many chances to put himself into Sixers’ history. Maxey does get one extra point here for his 39 point game, most as a Sixers’ rookie since Allen Iverson. 2/5
  4. Unintentional comedy: Maxey gets one extra point here for the uniqueness of the jersey. 2/5
