Sixers jersey power rankings : Outside the box jerseys
#7-9 (tie): Seth Curry — 9/20
- Watchability: Curry is an elite shooter and provides spacing for the team, but has not been very consistent this season. 3/5
- Future with team: Curry is signed through 2023 but will be nearly 33 at that point, so his future beyond this contract is murky. 3/5
- Franchise value: This is Curry’s first season with the team and he just doesn’t have any equity with Sixers’ fans. 1/5
- Unintentional comedy: Curry gets an extra point here for the uniqueness of the jersey and the interesting dynamic of being coached by his father-in-law. 2/5
#7-9 (tie): Mike Scott — 9/20
- Watchability: At this point in his career, Scott is pretty unwatchable and probably shouldn’t be in a legitimate NBA rotation. 1/5
- Future with team: Mike Scott is on an expiring contract and is coming up on 33 years old. His time in the NBA is just about up. 1/5
- Franchise value: This is Scott’s third season with the Sixers and he has contributed to winning as a role player the last two seasons. 2/5
- Unintentional comedy: Mike Scott’s hive will never die! From racing a random fan to crashing a Philly wedding, Mike Scott has embraced this city. He will always have a place in Philly sports history. 5/5
#7-9 (tie): Isaiah Joe — 9/20
- Watchability: Joe has provided strong shooting and floor spacing as a rookie but not much else to this point. This should improve over time but Joe is struggling to get minutes. 2/5
- Future with team: Joe is signed through 2023 and the Sixers seem interested in developing the rookie. 4/5
- Franchise value: Joe has played very limited minutes to this point. 1/5
- Unintentional comedy: Joe gets one bonus point here for the uniqueness of the jersey. 2/5
