Sixers jersey power rankings : Please don’t buy these
#10-11 (tie): Furkan Korkmaz — 7/20
- Watchability: Korkmaz provides value as an off-ball shooter but gets picked on defensively. 2/5
- Future with team: Korkmaz is in the final year of his contract and it is unclear if the Sixers have any plans on keeping him. 1/5
- Franchise value: Korkmaz has been on the team for four seasons and has played in some big games, so he gets an extra point here. 2/5
- Unintentional comedy: Korkmaz gets one bonus point here for the uniqueness of the jersey. 2/5
#10-11 (tie): Dwight Howard — 7/20
- Watchability: Howard has had some decent moments as a backup center but otherwise has been painful to watch. Dwight is constantly fumbling passes, flinging shots off the backboard, and fouling everyone. 1/5
- Future with team: Dwight is on an expiring contract and is already 35, so he doesn’t have much of a future with the team. 1/5
- Franchise value: This is Dwight’s first season with the Sixers, so there is not much sentimentality here. 1/5
- Unintentional comedy: This is where Dwight shines. Between his goofy attitude, chaotic play, and the fact that he is a future Hall of Famer, Dwight Howard would make for an interesting jersey choice. 4/5
#12: Danny Green — 6/20
- Watchability: Green’s best on-court assets are spot-up shooting, team defense, and leadership, three valuable traits but not exactly highlight material. 2/5
- Future with team: Green is on the final year of his deal and will be 34 in the offseason, so he is not a long-term piece. 1/5
- Franchise value: This is Green’s first season with the team so there isn’t much here. 1/5
- Unintentional comedy: Danny Green is a great locker room presence and a polished veteran, so very little comedy here. Plus one point for the uniqueness of the jersey. 2/5
