“…Thybulle looked like a top-10 defender in the NBA.”
For the first time this season, Seth Curry came back down to earth with his phenomenal shooting. It was a rough month shooting from the field for Curry while he looked like just an above average 3-point shooter. Hopefully, for the Philadelphia 76ers’ sake, he can re-catch his hot shooting streak that he began the season with.
5. Matisse Thybulle
February Stats: GP 13| MINS 20.5| FG% 45.9| 3P% 34.8| FT% 25.0| TRB 1.7| AST 1.1| BKL 1.1| STL 1.2| PF 2.3| TOV 0.5| PTS 3.3
There’s no denying that in the second month of the year, Matisse Thybulle looked like a top-10 defender in the NBA. He had a signature game defending the like of De’Aron Fox, which should have him in the conversation for being on an All-Defensive team. On top of the excellent defense, he shot around league average from the 3-point line.
4. Danny Green
February Stats: GP 13| MINS 30.1| FG% 44.2| 3P% 42.5| FT% 55.6| TRB 3.5| AST 1.0| BKL 0.8| STL 1.4| PF 2.2| TOV 1.4| PTS 8.6
This was the best shooting month for Danny Green as a member of the Philadelphia 76ers. For the most part, this month reminded me of prime Green on the offensive end. He scored in double-digits six times and shot over 40.0 percent from the 3-point line in seven games. He’s still a solid team defender which makes this month a great one for the veteran.
