3. Tobias Harris

February Stats: GP 12| MINS 35.3| FG% 51.1| 3P% 30.0| FT% 94.3| TRB 8.3| AST 4.5| BKL 0.6| STL 0.7| PF 2.1| TOV 1.3| PTS 20.0

Despite missing some games due to injury, Tobias Harris was still on fire scoring in February. The only knock on Harris this past month was his 3-point shooting. In the first six games to begin the month, he went a combined 3-17 from deep. Now the bright side is that for the rest of the month he went 9-23, which is a great comeback from that rough stuff.

2. Ben Simmons

February Stats: GP 10| MINS 36.1| FG% 62.1| 3P% 100.0| FT% 70.3| TRB 7.9| AST 7.8| BKL 0.5| STL 1.3| PF 2.8| TOV 3.1| PTS 21.0

Ben Simmons played the best basketball of this season during February. It was punctuated by a 42-point career-high game against the Utah Jazz against the incumbent Defensive Player of the Year in Rudy Gobert. On top of the great offensive output, he was elite defensive including an elite lock performance on Luka Doncic of the Dallas Mavericks. Simmons had three double-doubles on the month as well. There’s only one way that Simmons isn’t top of this list.

1. Joel Embiid

February Stats: GP 12| MINS 34.8| FG% 49.2| 3P% 42.9| FT% 88.1| TRB 11.5| AST 3.8| BKL 1.4| STL 1.4| PF 2.7| TOV 3.6| PTS 32.3

The reason why Simmons isn’t number one is that Joel Embiid put up one of the best months of his career. He scored a career-high 50-points against the Chicago Bulls. He scored at least 30 points in eight games. He had seven double-doubles and almost had a triple-double against Pheonix Suns. His averages speak for themselves and he should be a front runner for the MVP award.

There’s no doubt that the Philadelphia 76ers’ stars shined in the month of February, but can the role players pick up their game moving forward.
