On this episode of The Sixer Sense Podcast, Lucas Johnson and Christopher Kline start off with the Sixers‘ recently played games.
They break down the victory against the Knicks that saw Tobias Harris go off versus a much improved New York team. His clutch shooting and leadership is exactly what the Sixers needed on that night where it seemed the Knicks were going to walk away with a win.
Next, the go into the game versus the Milwaukee Bucks. The Greek Freak proved to be much more that the Sixers could handle in the second half, despite a clutch 3-pointer by Furkan Korkmaz to send the game into overtime. Lucas and Chris go into how effective the bench has been the last few games and how the core is worthy of being kept together.
The Sixers have played surprisingly competent basketball since Joel Embiid’s injury, which can be largely attributed to Tobias Harris’ recent surge.
After that, the pod sparks conversation about the determination of Tobias Harris to prove to his doubters that he is, if fact, an All-Star caliber player. Somehow, a comparison between Harris and former teammate, Danilo Gallinari, is brought up. Chris and Uriah go back and forth about who is the better player.
The discussion then goes into the possibility that the 76ers could eventually have three players selected to make an NBA All-Defensive team. The players you can probably figure out, but listen to hear their opinions on how soon this could possibly occur.
Lastly, the pod shows respect to Shawn Bradley after the news of his paralysis due to a freak accident. His career accomplishments are shared and his notable appearance in Space Jam.
