Before getting into the player of the week, the most recent game against the New Orleans Pelicans won’t be included in this article due to it occurring on friday night. That being said, Tobias Harris gets the nod as the Philadelphia 76ers most recent player of the week with his solid week scoring.
Player of the Week: Tobias Harris
Harris had his best game of the week in a victory against the lowly Minnesota Timberwolves. He had 32 points, five rebounds, four assists, one steal, one block, two turnovers, and four fouls. He converted 13-17 field goal attempts, 2-3 3-point attempts, and all four of his free throw attempts. Harris led all Sixers in points for this game.

In the blowout defeat to the Memphis Grizzlies, Harris was one of two brights spots in the game with Paul Reed being the other. Harris finished with 21 points, eight rebounds, three assists, one block, two turnover, and two fouls. He shot 8-14 from the floor, 0-3 from downtown, and 5-6 from the foul line.
Harris had his one bad game of the week in the double-digit victory over the Boston Celtics. Harris had 10 points, eight rebounds, four assists, two steals, one block, two turnovers, and two fouls, while making 4-11 from the field and 2-3 from the charity stripe. Harris was tied for the fourth leading scorer for the 76ers that night.
Honorable mention
Reed is this week’s honorable mention because of his impressive outing against the Memphis Grizzlies. He had 10 points, six rebounds, two steals, one steal, and one block while converting 5-7 from the floor in 13 minutes of play. It should be noted he did play one minute against the Celtics and recorded one block as well.
Outside of one bad game against the Celtics, Harris had an impressive week. He averaged 21.0 points, 7.0 rebounds, 3.3 assists, 1.0 steals, and 1.0 blocks. If Harris can avoid the occasional bad game, he would be even more of a scoring threat for the Philadelphia 76ers.
