The Philadelphia 76ers are the number one team in the Eastern Conference, and we are here to discuss their latest performances and all Sixers news that Philadelphia fans are eager to hear. Special guest David Esser from Section 215 joins Lucas Johnson and Christopher Kline to talk Sixers with us. We kick things off with the recent games that are part of an eight game win streak.

Against the Pelicans, the 76ers got revenge on a New Orleans team that was without Zion Williamson. Although they were shorthanded, the Sixers allowed the Pelicans to keep the game tight, and we explain how Philly almost gave this one away.

From there we analyze the win against Detroit. The Pistons are young and not in any hurry to win games, so the Sixers handled them easily. We look at the excellent performance of Tyrese Maxey, who could be hunting for playoff minutes based on his recent play.

Joel Embiid continues to dominate. How important is he to the Sixers’ success? Also important is Ben Simmons, who continues to garner praise for his contributions outside the scoring column.

Then, we explore the post play and midrange game of Joel Embiid. All season, he has dominated the paint, showing why he is the most unstoppable big man in and around the lane. We break down his stellar play in the paint and how significant his style of play will contribute to the Sixers’ success.

Next, Lucas, Christopher, and David touch on the sensitive issue of Ben Simmons’ offense. Instead of harping on his lack of perimeter shooting, we go into the perspectives of one of Simmons’ teammates and his coach. They assert that Simmons produces a tremendous amount of offense, which is obvious, but we elaborate on ways that his passing and drives to the lane, open up countless opportunities for other Sixers players.

The podcast then opens up the conversation about the addition of three key veterans who have made a huge difference this season. We discuss the addition of Danny Green, Seth Curry, and Dwight Howard, which has paid dividends in a number of ways.

Lastly, we read the social media question of the week and several responses from Sixer Sense followers. Which attributes would we each merge to create the perfect player? Listen and find out whose skills are blended.
