The Philadelphia 76ers are up 2-0 in their first round series after a convincing Game 2 blowout. The Sixers are on fire on both sides of the ball and their stars are showing up. However, Game 3 is a pivotal one in this series.

If the Washington Wizards are going to avoid a sweep, then they will have to do so in Game 3. For the 76ers sake, they need to complete the sweep as Kasey Kennedy of The Sixer Sense wrote and that starts by not letting Washington steal Game 3.

The Philadelphia 76ers can’t let Game 3 slip away.

This article is all for nothing if Russell Westbrook can’t play in Game 3. Without a talent like Westbrook, Bradley Beal and the rest of the Wizards don’t stand a chance against a loaded Philly roster. However, if Westbrook is healthy, he will be more than motivated, thanks in part to the irresponsible actions of the fan who poured popcorn on Westbrooke as he left Game 2 with an ankle injury.

More from The Sixer Sense

It should be noted that we here at The Sixer Sense don’t support the actions of that fan.

Game 3 will occur in Washington D.C. which gives the Wizards home court and if they have a healthy Westbrook, that could cause trouble for the Sixers. The Wizards have a home record 19-17, so clearly, they do better at home versus on the road.

Philly needs Ben Simmons to be aggressive on offense and they need both Joel Embiid and Tobias Harris to continue to dominate their respective matchups. Also having high-level bench production from Tyrese Maxey and Matisse Thybulle will help the Sixers to take Game 3 on the road.

If the Philadelphia 76ers aren’t locked on both sides of the ball, a motivated Wizards team led by Westbrook and Beal has the potential to steal Game 3 from the Sixers.
