For the Philadelphia 76ers, a summer of change awaits. How much will change, we do not know. All we know is something will, and as always, we here at The Sixer Sense strive to be one step ahead.

In this episode of the podcast, however, we start with a look back at the highs and lows of the 2020-21 season. We offer up offensive and defensive grades for every player on the roster, from Gary Clark to Joel Embiid.

How did Ben Simmons‘ offense grade out for the entire season? Was this an A-level year from Tobias Harris? How about Danny Green and Seth Curry — who deserves more praise? We parse through all of it.

Then, in what sparks a rather heated debate, we offer a final grade for Doc Rivers, taking into account the many positives and unfortunate negatives of his first season as Philadelphia’s head coach.

The Ben Simmons rumors are swirling, but what kind of value can the Sixers expect — or demand — on the trade market?

Following player grades, Lucas Johnson and Christopher Kline dive deep into the recent rumors circulating around Ben Simmons and the Minnesota Timberwolves. While the Wolves reportedly want Simmons “badly,” Lucas and Chris debate whether Minnesota has the necessary pieces to facilitate a trade. Would a third team be necessary?

Then, to finish out the podcast, the conversation shifts to a melancholy farewell. Marc Zumoff, who has been the voice of the local Sixers broadcast for roughly 30 years, announced his retirement this week. Lucas, Chris, and Uriah look back on a storied career, then ahead to who might fill Zumoff’s shoes.
