The Philadelphia 76ers have one of the polarizing players in the NBA with Ben Simmons who is in trade rumors at the moment. While there’s been a lot of Simmons articles come out here and rightfully so, he’s not the only player on the Sixers that should be in hypothetical trade talks.

Tobias Harris should be on the trade block as well in order to build the best roster around Joel Embiid. Harris’ contract takes up a big chunk of the salary cap with him make $36 million next year. Harris is a legit third star and has a breakout season, but he has to be the second leading scorer on the 76ers and that’s not his best role.

There are at least three trades that Philly could explore if they decide to move on from Harris. These trades are made with the thought that Simmons will be on the roster next season.

3 potential Harris trades: Indiana Pacers and Charlotte Hornets.

Two out of the three trades that are in this article are three-team trades and this first one is one of them. Below is a proposed deal that would help balance out each team more evenly and make the pieces on each team’s respective rosters fit better.

For the Sixers, they get Terry Rozier and T.J. Warren. Rozier and Warren are three level scorers at the point guard and small forward position. Assuming Warren is healthy next season, this could be a steal for the 76ers are both players are near the level of player that Harris is. This deal would also shift Simmons to a power forward position so it works out for Philly in that regard too.

The Indiana Pacers get a legit stretch four to pair next to Domantas Sabonis with Harris. They also get a young prospect at center in Richard Nicks and a 2023 lottery protected first round pick, via the Charlotte Hornets. Harris’ a much more natural fit than Myles Turner has been in the past several seasons.

The Hornets get the defensive center who can stretch the floor in Turner. They struggled with Cody Zeller and Bismack Biyombo as their starting center last year. They gave up a lot to give get Turner in this fake trade, but he helps balances out the roster with one less point guard and a quality center on it.
