3 potential Harris trades: Cleveland Cavaliers
This proposed deal is the only two-team one in this article and honestly, it might be one of my favorites. Despite having a player who has one of the worst contracts in the NBA coming to the Sixers, this hypothetical could benefit both the 76ers and the Cleveland Cavaliers.

For those who read the previous paragraph, you are probably wondering why this trade that allows the Sixers to get Collin Sexton and Kevin Love is one of my favorites. There are two reasons, Collin Sexton can be an All-Star with his scoring gifts next to Philly’s other two stars and Kevin Love can be the perfect backup power forward/center for Simmons and Embiid.
Love’s one year less on his deal than Harris does and if it doesn’t work out, the 76ers can flip Love next year who will be on the last year of his deal for a legit star. For more Sexton trades hypotheticals, check out an article written by Christopher Kline of The Sixer Sense.
For Clevland, Harris is an ideal power forward to pair with this young Cavaliers roster trying to contend and Shake Milton will add solid depth to their guard rotation. On top of that, Love hasn’t been happy playing on this rebuilding team and he’s proven to be a detriment to the team. As a result, trading him to a contender will make him happy, but it will also make it hard for Cleveland to get any draft capital from Philly for Sexton.
Considering that Harris is on a bad contract, the three hypothetical trades in this article help improve the Philadelphia 76ers roster in the long run and would allow Simmons to play more of a power forward position moving forward.
