Sixers rumors: Latest on the Ben Simmons trade saga
Sixers’ potential Ben Simmons trade partner: Golden State Warriors
Now, the Golden State Warriors could give the 76ers one of the better packages for Simmons. The Warriors can offer Andrew Wiggins, James Wiseman, seventh pick in this year’s draft, and possibly (if the Sixers asked) the 14th pick as well. This would give any team trying to trade for Ben Simmons a run for their money.
Wiggins averaged about 19 points this year and had a good year on the defensive end. As far as Wiseman goes, he did tear his ACL, so the Sixers might be a little skeptical on pulling the trigger for a player who is coming off a fresh tear on a crucial ligament.
This would be a dream for any Warrior fan: Ben Simmons next to Steph Curry and Klay Thompson will be catastrophic for the NBA and Simmons next to Draymond Green will cause mayhem on the defensive end.
The Sixers might be willing to part ways with Simmons because the seventh and 14th picks in this year’s draft is a very nice touch. Especially because of how deep the upcoming rookie class is.
