2021 NBA Mock Draft — 15. Moses Moody, Washington Wizards

The Wizards’ roster is a mess, with no clear direction beyond Bradley Beal, Russell Westbrook, and vein playoff aspirations. For as long as Beal is there, the Wizards owe it to him to try and get better. Moses Moody is a day-one contributor who complements Washington’s core duo.

A quintessential 3-and-D wing, Moody does a lot of what teams look for in secondary and tertiary contributors. He’s a great standstill shooter, a smart, unselfish player, and a physical defender. He is 6-foot-6 and 211 pounds with a 6-foot-11 wingspan, providing a great deal of positional versatility.

Moody can guard all over the floor, and he does so with great intensity. He’s not much of an on-ball scorer yet, but Moody’s spot-up jumper, one-dribble pull-ups, and upside as a finisher are enough to keep him productive in Washington’s current setup.
