Sixers podcast: Bradley Beal rumors and Ben Simmons’ trade value
By Uriah Young
On this episode of The Sixer Sense Podcast, we welcome back award-winning sports personality, Neil Hartman, to discuss the latest topics related to the Philadelphia 76ers.
The podcast kicks off with the recent trade demand rumor surrounding Washington Wizards All-Star Bradley Beal. With Beal being unhappy about the coaching situation for the Wizards, this could mean that the Sixers have a chance to land the NBA scoring leader in a trade involving Ben Simmons.
Speaking of Simmons…the podcast then dives into the current trade value of the Sixers’ point guard. Lucas, Chris, and Neil offer their views on whether or not his value has dipped or stayed the same since the 76ers were eliminated in the second round versus the Atlanta Hawks.
The next topic revolves around the NBA Draft on Thursday. In a recent podcast episode, we did a mock draft to reveal the young talent available in the draft. For this segment, we isolate the focus on what specific positions need to be filled with young talent on this Sixers team. Neil, Lucas, and Chris also share who they think could be this year’s Tyrese Maxey, a solid player who could fall to pick 28.
We then discuss the value of Dwight Howard, whether he should be re-signed, and how he is trying to add another element to his game in the offseason.
The social media poll question of the week gives Sixer Sense followers a chance to express their thoughts about what the Sixers should do with the 28th pick in the draft on Thursday night.
