5 shooting guard free agent options in 2021: E’Twaun Moore

E’Twaun Moore is probably the least appealing name on this list. Despite making it to the NBA Finals with the Phoenix Suns, he was clearly at the end of the bench for the franchise. His play the last two seasons indicates that he’s on a slow decline.

For example this past season, he averaged 4.9 points on 31.4 percent shooting from behind the arc. For his career, Moore has averaged 7.6 points on 38.8 percent shooting from deep. It’s clear that Moore is on the decline.

However, that shouldn’t stop the Philadelphia 76ers from looking at him in free agency, especially if Simmons stays on the roster. While he’s primarily a shooting guard, he can play point guard if need be. He’d be a nice compliment to Simmons’ game.

On top of that, he’s a solid veteran to have in the locker room and could be had for the veteran’s minimum. He should probably be the last player on this list that the Sixers should consider in free agency but as long as he still has something left in the tank, he should be on their radar.
