3 NBA Draft prospects the Sixers may regret passing on: Sharife Cooper

Sharife Cooper has been drawing many comparisons to Atlanta Hawks guard Trae Young. Well, now he is going to be joining forces with Young in Atlanta. Did the 76ers miss out on a future star?

Cooper did not play many games in college, but when he did, he shined. He averaged over 20 points and eight assists. Though he has much to work on, with his 3-point shooting and free throw percentage being areas of weakness, he is able to take control of the floor and really dictate the outcome of a game. He may not have the skill set to play right away, but with Cooper, there is so much upside and a lot to look forward to.

Cooper is very similar to Tyrese Maxey in terms of build and style of game, but if the 76ers were to move on from Simmons, Sharife Cooper would be able to provide a lot of help off the bench, assuming Maxey would take on the role of starting point guard.

Keep an eye on Cooper this upcoming season and in the future with Atlanta.
