Predicting Sixers NBA 2K22 ratings — Isaiah Joe, 71

This is where Isaiah Joe finished last season. He could see a point or two increase, but it’s safe to assume the 2K programmers are not binging Joe tape in their free time. Until Joe earns rotation minutes, he’s unlikely to experience a significant boost in 2K.

That said, Joe is very much ready to at least contend for a roster spot. He’s probably a year or two out from truly catching Furkan Korkmaz (especially with Doc Rivers as head coach), but there aren’t many better pure shooters than Joe. And he takes a crap ton of 3s, which is extra valuable in Philly.

Predicting Sixers NBA 2K22 ratings — Jaden Springer, 72

As a first-round pick, Jaden Springer will get some extra love, even if he’s probably not immediately better than Joe. Springer enters the NBA with stellar defensive marks and a lot of room for growth. He’s less of a proven entity on offense, and plays a style that’s hard to replicate in 2K, but his real-life development will be fascinating to watch.

Springer won’t get much opportunity for growth as a rookie. He’s buried in a reasonably deep guard rotation. Doc Rivers is stingy with young players, and Maxey’s breakout last season leaves Springer’s leash that much shorter. There’s just not much of a path to him breaking out as a rookie, but never count it out.

Predicting Sixers NBA 2K22 ratings — Paul Reed, 73

Paul Reed dominated the G-League and the Summer League. The 2K programmers probably aren’t computing G-League stats, but Reed’s reputation has begun to leak beyond the Philly fanbase. He finished last year’s game at 71, but is due for a couple points’ improvement for 2K22.

The game generally values offense over defense, and Reed makes his money on defense, but his unique skill set does leave some potential for offensive equity in the game. He can shoot a bit, dribble, drive, and do enough weird, effective skill-related activities to earn some bonus points from the programmers.
