Sixers free agent tracker 2021 offseason: Power Forwards
Gary Clark (2020-21)
Gary Clark has the potential to be a versatile defender in the NBA. However, his offensive game is so far behind that the Philadelphia 76ers only had him on a two-way contract last season. He’s currently a free agent, but don’t be surprised if he gets another shot in the NBA.
JaKarr Sampson (2014-15)
JaKarr Sampson was another byproduct of “The Process”. He’s a long versatile defender at the forward spot, but outside of dunking, he doesn’t provide much on offense. The past two seasons, he was on the Indiana Pacers and is currently a free agent.
Mike Scott (2018-21)
The Mike Scott “Hive” experience has officially ended in Philadelphia and outside of his first season, it wasn’t a great one. It was clear that Scott was well past his prime this past season and it would be very surprising if he gets another NBA job moving forward.
Ersan Ilyasova (2016-17, 2017-18)
Like Smith, Ersan Ilyasova is the other player on this list that has had two separate stints with the 76ers. Last season he was on the Utah Jazz for part of the season where he was more of the end of the bench type of guy. He’s still an efficient shooter, so he could still be on another team next season despite being 34-years-old.
