15. Serge Ibaka

The Los Angeles Clippers need Serge Ibaka to be healthy this upcoming season. When he was healthy last season, Ibaka was a great stretch five while anchoring a good defensive team. If his health fails again this upcoming season then the Clippers will turn to Ivica Zubac who is a solid enough starter when called upon.

14. Mitchell Robinson

Former Philadelphia 76ers lottery pick Nerlens Noel probably won’t be the starter with Mitchell Robinson returning to health. Robinson was injured most of last season, but when healthy, Robinson is elite defensively and a solid pick-and-roll big man. He will make an already great defensive in the New York Knicks elite.

13. Jarrett Allen

The Cleveland Cavaliers paid Jarrett Allen big money this offseason and he deserves it. He’s a great rebounder and defender, as well as a rim runner. He and Robinson are so close in terms of skill and talent, but Allen has been much healthier than Robinson so he gets the nod over the Knicks center.

12. Brook Lopez

Brook Lopez use to be an elite interior scorer turned into the stretch five for the Milwaukee Bucks. He’s gotten really good with his interior defense as well. He’s a starting center for a championship team with how his game has developed at this point in his career.

11. Myles Turner

In terms of having a prototypical 3-and-D big man, Myles Turner would be the ideal fit in that role. He’s elite at rim protector and can stretch the floor. He led the NBA in blocks per game last season. On top of that, he’s a great pick-and-roll or pick-and-pop big man. He’s not a star player, but he can be a star in his role.
