10. Houston Rockets

Simmons and John Wall would be a weird fit as Wall can’t shoot the ball well and neither are great as off-ball players. That being written, Simmons would fit nicely with the rest of the Houston Rockets’ young core. They have talented young wings and stretch big men.

9. Phoenix Suns

With the Phoenix Suns, Ben Simmons would get to learn from an All-time great point guard in Chris Paul and would fill their need at the power forward position. The only concern is his fit with Deandre Ayton who is part of their future.

8. Portland Trail Blazers

The combination of Simmons and Damian Lillard or CJ McCollum would be a great duo. The Portland Trail Blazers have the shooter so surround Simmons with as well. They would have to trade Jusuf Nurkic to fix the spacing issue, but the fit is there. However, it’s unclear how much better Simmons makes the Blazers.

7. San Antonio Spurs

To be honest, if Simmons is willing to take on the role as point center, then his fit with the San Antonio Spurs would be great. He’d be the face of the franchise and he’d help them get at least back into playoff contention. If there is one head coach that might reach Simmons, then Gregg Popovich would be the man.

6. Cleveland Cavaliers

The Cleveland Cavaliers would have to trade center Jarrett Allen to make the fit work between Simmons and the franchise. The Cavaliers have the shooter at every position and guards who can play off the ball. They have the formula to make themselves similar to what the Bucks are around Giannis. However, that core isn’t ready to compete for a title yet.
