This trade helps Philadelphia instantly, but for a moment, let’s jump back into reality. The Raptors would be giving up two all-star caliber players for two players who are elite defenders but lack skill on the offensive end.

If the 76ers were to ask for Pascal Siakam and Fred VanVleet, they would need to add more to their end of the trade.

How to fix this deal

Could that involve Maxey? Likely not, but it could involve adding young guys like Shake Milton and Paul Reed. This would give the Raptors multiple young guys to help build for their future and around Ben Simmons.

With that being said, they would likely need to add one or two second round picks to solidify the deal. I am not a trade or NBA expert, but this is how the Sixers could get this deal done.
