Sixers Start/Bench/Sit — Tyrese Maxey, START

Tyrese Maxey is the winner out of this trio. He is the starter and somebody I would play over both Seth Curry and Shake Milton. Throughout the season Maxey was able to showcase his skill and showed high upside as being a valuable player to the team where in only his 10th NBA game he dropped 39 points.

Having been somebody that was in and out of the rotation all throughout the season, Maxey was able to carve out crucial minutes and find a role for the team during the playoffs. With Ben Simmons gone from the starting lineup, I believe Maxey will be somebody who benefits the most from this because he will see an increase in role and minutes.

I would slot him into the starting lineup as somebody who can be a primary playmaker, dynamic ball handler and finisher around the rim. Just looking at his growth and dominance during the summer league has helped elevate the case for Maxey, because in only two games before his departure, he showed that he was overqualified for the league. As a starter during those games Maxey averaged 26 points, 5.5 rebounds, 4.5 assists on 50 percent shooting.

Using this as an indicator as to what’s to come Maxey looks to be my favorite over both Curry and Milton going into the season moving forward.
