2. Nikola Vucevic

Despite only playing just one season with the Sixers, the 16th pick of the 2011 draft has been a two-time All-Star and has careers averages of 16.9 points and 10.4 rebounds. He’s played for Philly, Orlando, and the Chicago Bulls thus far in his 10 season career.

Nikola Vucevic is a three-level scorer, great rebounder, and solid defender. He’s on an offensive juggernaut entering this season with the Chicago Bulls. He was traded from the 76ers as a part of the Bynum deal. Vucevic wasn’t the best player available to the Sixers in this draft, but he’s still a very good one.

1. Jrue Holiday

Vucevic isn’t the best non-lottery pick made by the Sixers in the common draft era. That honor goes to Jrue Holiday. He was the 17th pick in the 2009 NBA Draft and was clearly the right choice. He spent four seasons in Philly where he made his only All-Star appearance. He was then traded to the New Orleans Pelicans and won an NBA title with the Bucks this past season.

Holiday’s an elite defensive guard, who’s also a three-level scorer as well. He’s arguably the best defensive point guard in the NBA if you don’t place Simmons as a point guard on defense. Trading Holiday kicked off the 76ers rebuild dubbed “The Process”, which helped Philly get a player of Embiid’s pedigree.
