On this special episode of the Sixer Sense Podcast, we dive into heated conversation about Christopher Kline’s ranking of the NBA’s top 100 players to get everyone prepared for NBA training camp.

We start things off, of course, by discussing where Philly players are ranked on this list.

Where do the Sixers rank among the top 100 NBA players?

Tobias Harris is mentioned first, and a debate is raised immediately, considering how consistent he was all season for the 76ers. After Chris takes heat for his low ranking of Harris, the podcast goes into Ben Simmons.

Chris had Simmons in the top 20 at one point last year, but how far did he fall in Chris’ eyes? Was the decline in rankings deserved after Simmons’ horrendous playoff performance versus the Hawks? Lucas Johnson analyzes the placement of Simmons and offers his two cents.

Obviously, Joel Embiid is the highest ranked Sixer who we discuss. Exactly where did Chris rank Embiid, and did the Sixers’ All-Star big man beat out Nikola Jokic? Listen closely as Lucas and Uriah try to understand this controversial ranking between big men.

For the remainder of the podcast, we share our thoughts about the ranking order, and debate the fairness of player placement based on last year’s performances and this year’s projections. Some notable disagreements include the ranking of Robert Covington, Joe Ingles, Aaron Gordon, Russell Westbrook, and another Sixer who did not even make the top 100.
