On this episode of The Sixer Sense Podcast, we bring you up to date on the latest Ben Simmons drama. Although we do not have a site expert from FanSided sites that cover teams rumored in a Simmons trade like the Spurs, Warriors, Timberwolves, or Trail Blazers, we still offer plenty of information on the hottest NBA topic this past summer.

Lucas Johnson and Christopher Kline welcome Jonathan Geib to talk about the recent Sixers topics, and they start with the Adrian Wojranowski report that led sports headlines early this week. The podcast goes into how the volatile Ben Simmons holdout situation will impact the team, and we discuss the best and worst case scenarios when it comes to a potential trade.

After we talk about how the Sixers will be impacted, we then look at the how the league will be impacted. Do we think the Klutch Agency and 76ers organization’s lack of negotiation will have an effect on the CBA for future seasons? Are we concerned that Adam Silver may have to get involved?

Ben Simmons wants out, and the Sixers will eventually have to oblige. Is John Wall a trade candidate?

We then go into the recent news about another disgruntled star who may be on the move. John Wall is brought up in the podcast since he has made it known that he wants out of Houston. We analyze what his presence in a Sixers’ lineup would look like should a deal be made to get rid of Simmons for another star.

The final topic revolves around a former Sixer who announced his retirement this week. J.J. Redick is brought up in this part of the podcast, where we discuss his impact on the 76ers and his legacy as one of the top 3-point shooters of all time.
